What is your “Ride Life”?
The chance to get stronger, build more skills and share the sport I love with others. From battling with gnarly rock gardens to Friday morning Yawn@Dawn rides, anytime that lets me get in some 2Lx2Lx2W work (lungs, legs, wheels) it’s a great day.

What do you want to be if you grow up?
Thought I was pretty much there, I’m pretty happy with life now. As long as I can live an active lifestyle, everything is negotiable.

Any advice for young riders?
Take the time to learn about yourself. Travel, volunteer, teach or whatever may interest you. Find your strengths and weaknesses on and off the bike. Strive to be better everyday.

Best part about racing mountain bikes?
The places its allowed me to travel and people I’ve met. Having the chance to ride different terrain throughout the northeast has increased my technical skills. My teammates are awesome and I learn more every time we     get to ride and race together.

Favorite Food
Food with food in it. You ever start thinking about your next meal during or just after finishing your current one? Otherwise my go-to is Asian.

Drink of Choice
High Quality H2O any day. Extracurricular beverages include a great craft beer – Saison, Red Ale.

Boxers or Briefs: Boxers

What was your first car?
A 1984 Volvo 240DL that my dad bought at a local used car/junkyard. We replaced the body panels and did the engine work in our driveway. The final touch was custom paint, Chevy Camaro blue from 90’s . It was the hottest 240 in Central Va for years and carried me through sophomore year of college. RIP CuVo82

Your best cycling hack/tip?
Simple Straps from byeKyle, I use them to hold spare tubes and levers to the bike, secure my bike to the car rack and tons of other uses.
